For what reason would Alex think that humans are inferior. Honestly I think that we have come a long way with lots of achievements. Alex has had a bad childhood, I understand where he is coming from but he needs to be more open with these things and embrace his background and where he comes from. He is a gigantic fool for not accepting advice or help from anybody when he went off on his journey. And he is also a fool for not letting anybody know where he was going to be. He could have easily lived if he had actually prepared for this great adventure. Instead he was struggling to survive the harsh conditions of the wild all by himself.
